Pricing and the Donation BOOSTER

Razoo has no subscription or setup fees to register and create a fundraising page. Fees only occur when a donation. All pricing and transaction details can be found in our Terms of Use.



Fee Structure (updated 01/05/2015) 

Razoo's current pricing is 6.9% plus $0.30 on each donation to a charitable fundraiser. The Razoo Foundation will regrant 93.1% less $0.30 per advised donation to the qualifying tax-exempt entity chosen and retain 4.0% for platform costs and Razoo Foundation’s expenses, plus 2.9% and $0.30 for payment processing costs. Donors can cover these fees to ensure the organization will receive their full donation.

For example, a contribution of $100.00 advised to Charity A would result in a regrant of $92.80 to Charity A. The donor is issued a tax deductible receipt for the full $100.00 contribution. 

Our platform fee helps to provide and maintain all the services and features to our nonprofits and donors using the site. The payment processing fee covers the costs of processing a credit card or other payment service.

The Razoo Foundation automatically disburses funds to advised charities on a regular timeline. 

 

Donation Booster

With just one-click at checkout, donors can cover all of the processing and platform fees. Industry research shows nearly 40% of donors choose to boost their donation, which means organizations receive even more in donations.

To boost their donation, donors simply need to check or turn on the option to boost or cover the fees. By default, this option is off, so donors will need to check this themselves.

 

Refund Policy

Donations submitted online are final. We cannot refund or alter donations as stated in our Terms of Use. When you give on Razoo.com, you are making a donation to Razoo Foundation, which is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a donor advised fund (DAF). According to federal regulations for DAFs, your contribution is considered complete and irrevocable, in part because of the immediacy of tax benefits.
